Words of Wisdom

Christian's mentor saw him opening a package at work the other day. He inquired what was inside and upon discovering it was wedding ring #2 (ring #1 lasted a mere 3 months) he offered some hilarious words of wisdom. He said Christian should've bought a solid and plain band so when he looses the next one he can just run over to Macys to buy a new one without the wife's notice...the mentor is now on ring 9 or 10.

Two Day Tease

Tetherball Champ...Note the stiff competition:

I was reading him an article from my magazine...
towards the end I looked over and saw this: We spent the weekend down at the Newport Coast Villas with my family. Unfortunately we could only stay for two days. Right when we started to feel like we were actually on vacation it was time to face another week of work.

Happiest Place on Earth

EY knows the key to our happiness...
Despite my objections (b/c I wanted to stay dry),
Christian insisted on the front seat for Splash Mt. We left soaking!
The only thing better than Disneyland without lines (nothing beats the separate handicap entrances) is FREE Disneyland without lines. We enjoyed an all-inclusive day in Mickeytown, which included tickets, parking, t-shirts, and most importantly endless food...all compliments of the Ernst and Young Summer Party! Thank you EY!!

Celebs and Celebrations!

Plates just create extra work when you don't have a dishwasher Riding the Trolley Car while we waited for our table.
The picture I illegally snapped with my camera phone.
Christian is officially closer to 30 than 20. He turned the big 26 on Sunday!! After fasting all morning we finally dug into an entire cake and later went to a BBQ with some friends in the ward. On Sat. we went to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch with my grandparents and then hurried over to Hollywood to watch a taping of "Celebrity" Family Feud. It was definitely C-list celebs, but Al Rocker hosted and the Orange County Choppers kept if interesting. We then changed into cocktail attire in the car and headed to a firm party. We spent nearly all our time at the incredible food stations & open bar (can't pass up a free diet coke).

Called to Serve

I finally got my calling. I'm now the 2nd Counselor in Primary. I'm sure my experience as the Relief Society door greeter will come in handy.
