Kauai

We made it to Kauai...barely. After a delayed flight, layover in Honolulu and more than one tired Brady meltdown later, we arrived.
Brady is loving the water and loving his naps even more. He's been so exhausted from all the swimming that's he's been napping 5-6 hours a day and literally reaching for his crib for each nap.  This has meant many childless hours of sunbathing for me and surf time for Christian...heaven.
Our second day here was Mother's day! The boys treated all the moms to a delicious breakfast before we headed up to Hanalei for the day. We hiked the Napali coast then snorkeled in the bay. My mom watched Brady while we all went swimming and snorkeling to cool down after the hike. Exhausted and hungry we stopped in Princeville for dinner before heading home.
The rest of our days have been filled with hours at the pool, morning runs, snorkeling, paddle boarding, surfing, and more!
Grandma, Mom & I enjoying our Mother's Day breakfast prepared by these hardworking guys:

 Hiking along the Napali Coast.
Hiking along the coast near our hotel.
Brady got his birthday presents a little early from grandma. We might need an extra suitcase to get it all home!

Snorkeling in Hanalei Bay with Corbin
We brought some broccoli to feed the fish and they nearly ate us in the process. Before I even opened the bag they were attacking us. I freaked out, threw the bag to Corbin, and he quickly tossed it all to the fish. It was gone in seconds.

On the move

Brady can't even walk and I feel like it is all I can do to try to stay one step ahead of him or at least only a couple steps behind him. He is in constant motion and always carefully watching what we are doing. The second we forget to close a bathroom door, leave anything electronic within climbing reach or don't completely lock a cabinet he instantly spots our error and makes a dead bolt for whatever he can't have. Here's to ten months and I'm sure many more active months to come!!
