The Picketts invited us up for an amazing weekend at their ranch! The weekend was full of yummy food, sun bathing, & friends. We spent the days at the lake & river and the evenings playing games. Jared treated us to shaved ice throughout the day, Garth gave us tours of the property on the Mongoose, and Greg never failed to provide the comedic entertainment. Christian would've spent all day fishing if I would've let him and even cooked up one of his catches. My personal highlight was tubing down the American River. Madeleine, KC & I could've been in separate tubes, but we opted to go together and tow the extra tube behind us. After a few scary moments and 3 sore bums from hitting rocks, we made it back safely.

It's hilarious that you really can only see our heads over the raft. Boy, did we show Matt how wrong he was about 3 people in the Sunburst!
