Halloween

Halloween this year yielded lots of pumpkin patching, candy bingeing, and curious monkeying.

Newport

We went down to Newport with my family for the 4th of July! We spent all day, everyday, at the beach and pool. Brady was in heaven.
Brady's last free flight. The day before his birthday.
Balboa Island
The boys golfed at Pelican Hill & my mom and I went for massages!
My mom gave Brady birthday gifts nearly every day!
The hotel had a 4th of July carnival. After waiting in line for 45 minutes for a balloon...
it popped.

Disney

For Christmas my parents gave us tickets to Disneyland and we were finally able to get down to LA and enjoy them. We spent three days in the parks. I've never seen Brady so overwhelmed, excited, and tired. Every ride (with the exception of It's a Small World) ended with him signing "more". The parades were his favorite. His eyes lit up with the music and dancing. He would sit completely still and was mesmerized by the entire show. I'm already looking forward to taking him back when he actually knows who Mickey is and understands that lines are part of the deal!

Made for the water

I don't think I've ever seen Brady more happy or more tired. We spent all day, everyday, at the beach and pool. I almost wish he was a bit more scared of the water, but we could not keep him out.  Our good friends, Russ, Jenn and Mikey flew out from Salt Lake and spent the week with us in Kauai. Brady and Mikey are only two months apart in age and adored each other. Jen and Russ were staying a couple days longer and we joked about changing our flights to stay with them. When I went to check in to fly home I realized it wouldn't cost much to stay so we ended up extending a couple more nights which was such a treat!
The hotel set up TVs outside so we could watch the Superbowl from the pool.
 Waipu Falls!
!
The ABC store has something for everyone...

The little guys were too small to ride the big slide, but we all took our fair share going down.

Koi fish feeding. Brady could've watched the fish all day and may have tried to jump in more than once.
Hiking the Napali Coast. Between the on and off rain, no child carrier, and being pregnant we were quite the spectacle...for all 4 miles.
